A solid quick service Chinese restaurant. We ordered: Szechuan chicken, chicken lo mein, General Tso's chicken, egg roll, wonton soup, and 4 piece wing appetizer. General tso's wasn't too sweet or too spicy - huge pieces of chicken. Its not my favorite, but its good. Typical lo mein - good flavor, not too greasy. Szechuan chicken was spicy with pieces of carrot, celery, and other veggies. Wings had a very thick but light batter on them (tempura maybe?). Good flavor and crunch. Huge wontons in soup. Egg roll was short and fat. Good but nothing special. All of that food for like $32 bucks. Not bad!

Szechuan Delight is the best Chinese resturant outside of Hong Kong. I've eaten Chinese all around the globe and I highly recommmend Szechuan Delight. The food it great and in over 15 years, they haven't made ANY errors on my orders. They ARE the best. I recommend them to everyone. Even after moving out of there delivery area, we still take out at least twice a week. I figure I've spent at least $30,000* (yes over thirty THOUSAND) dollar at Szechuan Delight in the last 15 years. - Worth every penny!

This place is a hidden gem inside of a nightmare shopping center in Alexandria. PARK in the BACK. It's been here for years and they have good chinese food. I always carryout.

Amazing pork fried dumplings and some of the best General Tso's chicken I have ever had. The chicken is all white meat, large tenderloins, not those "dog nuckles" of gristle you can find at some places. Their sauce is well spiced and very flavorful without being heavy and oily.

We've been getting delivery from this place for awhile now and really enjoy it, especially their General Tso's Chicken. It's a sizable portion, and it has less breading than most General Tso's dishes, which we like a lot. Happy eating.

I EXTREMELY like their food, especially their crunchy orange chicken. I order from here at least once a month and will be with them to the end! I've tried a couple around the alexandria area but this one seems to have enamored my taste buds..and once you go szechuan Delight you never go...wait foods here..haaha ..and plus there is nothing to rhyme with that phrase. Go Get Yourself Some Delight! BTW. the person who had a bad "experience" with this restaurant was problably/mostlikely/99% because he wanted to vent that he got his food from the WRONG place. OR .. He just has bad taste. maybe both?
